Sauna what?

Saunasplash is the festival centered around wellness and DIY. Wellness works in a lot of ways: relaxing, dancing together, learning, having great food, and feeling empowered to try something new – choose your favorite. Allowing yourself some downtime is just as welcome as getting involved. Join us for the one-of-a-kind gathering of the growing DIY sauna community.

helping hands

Community only works when done together. Help us with setup, takedown, and everything in between to make Saunasplash a reality. Register as a helper here and find your dream job at this year’s Saunasplash.

program

20 DJs and 15 bands, ranging from ambient to Balkan brass, workshops on Shiatsu, crochet, felt hats and playfighting, clowns with a cold, performances about the towel’s quest for world domination, a bathrobe pimp-up station for your big entrance, nettle infusions, steaming tea tents and a fire that’s escaped from the sauna. Check out the program now.

questions?

accessibility FAQ
Do you have any questions about the event’s accessibility? We’ve put together some important information here: saunasplash.de/en/info-barriers/.
Further, you can always contact us via mail at: ticket@saunasplash.de

Arrival

Please come by public transport to Strandbad Orankesee at Gertrudstraße 7, 13053 Berlin, as there is only a very limited space for cars around the lido. We have reserved parking spaces directly at the entrance for people with limited mobility. You can either take the tram 27 or M13 to ‘Orankestrand’ (5 min walk).

Awareness

We want to create a space which empowers all of us to have a good time in our bodies (naked or not). That is why we work with the Awareness team “B-Aware“, which you can contact if you don‘t feel well, need help or have seen or experienced boundary-crossing behaviour. You can take a break inside the Awareness space. We do not tolerate any discriminatory behaviour.

(no) cash / payment on site

At this years Saunasplash, we sweat cash-free: at all food and drink stalls, you pay exclusively using the chip on your festival wristband. You can top it up at your leisure at our top-up station on site, using cash or a card. At the main bar, you can also top up directly using a credit card.
Got any credit left over at the end? If so, you can have it refunded to your account after the festival or donate it. We’d, of course, be delighted to receive a donation. Refunds will be processed in batches on 7 October, 21 October and 4 November 26.
Important: We must receive your refund request by 4 November.

You’ll find the link here after the festival.

Children up to the age of 14 can get in for free if they are accompanied by an adult. We welcome donations. We do not have a special program for children though.

cloakroom

This year, there will be a secure cloakroom where you can leave your valuables, and an unsecured cloakroom where you can store your bags and clothes to keep them dry. Best bring two bags to keep order in the cloakroom.
We do not take any responsibility for the items stored there.

non-sexual

We celebrate nudity separately from sexuality and want to empower people to feel comfortable with being socially naked in a casual setting. Sexual acts are not welcome at the festival. Please respect that.

pets

Pets are cute, but not allowed at the lido.

Please do not take any photos at the event. We have someone on site who will take photos discreetly and only with your consent. Naturally, we will not publish any photos in which you can be recognised without your consent..
