Sauna what?
Saunasplash is the festival centered around wellness and DIY. Wellness works in a lot of ways: relaxing, dancing together, learning, having great food, and feeling empowered to try something new – choose your favorite. Allowing yourself some downtime is just as welcome as getting involved. Join us for the one-of-a-kind gathering of the growing DIY sauna community.

Community only works when done together. Help us with setup, takedown, and everything in between to make Saunasplash a reality. As soon as the helpers system is up and running, we’ll let you know both here and via the newsletter.

Wellness is more than just sweating in silence. Have you invented a new towel-waving technique, do you make music, or would you like to offer a workshop? We look forward to your application.

TIckets
“Wellness for everyone” is our slogan. By buying a ticket, you’re helping with funding the maintenance of various DIY sauna projects. Tickets aren’t available yet. we’ll announce the start of the presale via the newsletter and here.
Wellness Institutions
Do you have your own self built mobile sauna, a huge bathtub or something just as fun, and would you like to take part in this year’s Saunasplash? We will publish the application form soon.

Arrival
Please come by public transport to Strandbad Orankesee at Gertrudstraße 7, 13053 Berlin, as there is only a very limited space for cars around the lido. We have reserved parking spaces directly at the entrance for people with limited mobility. You can either take the tram 27 or M13 to ‘Orankestrand’ (5 min walk).
Awareness
We want to create a space which empowers all of us to have a good time in our bodies (naked or not). That is why we have an Awareness team which you can contact if you don‘t feel well, need help or have seen or experienced boundary-crossing behaviour. You can take a break inside the Awareness space. We do not tolerate any discriminatory behaviour.
Covid / Acute Sickness?
Covid positive is sauna negative. Please keep your germs to yourself and stay away.
cloakroom
There will be a checkroom, more details will follow soon. We do not take any responsibility for the items stored there.
(no) camping
Camping at the site is not possible.
non-sexual
We celebrate nudity separately from sexuality and want to empower people to feel comfortable with being socially naked in a casual setting. Sexual acts are not welcome at the festival. Please respect that.
pets
Pets are cute, but not allowed at the lido.
pictures
Please do not take pictures at the event.
what to pack
A standard kit includes a bathrobe, slippers, two towels (big and small), a warm sweater for the evening and a water bottle. Glass bottles and dogs, please stay at home. Remember: Jewellery looks great, but can also get extremely hot in the sauna. Please leave your valuables at home.
